CHRISTIAN EXPERIENCE WEEKEND (CEW)
A Christian Experience Weekend (CEW) is to strengthen and enrich your relationship with God.
A particular time and place, away from the busy routine of daily living, is provided where a true Christian community will develop in various ways. The Christian Experience Weekend is not a retreat consisting of silence and meditation. It is a shared Christain experience that grew from the realization that Christian life must be experienced before being appreciated.
The weekend is intended for any person who would like to grow in terms of the kind of Christian he/she is; the person looking for more in life - the "fullness of life and joy" that Jesus brought us. A team of lay people and religious men and women conduct the weekend. CEW includes talks and discussions, special services and Mass, time for reflection, good food, and fun.
2024 Women’s Weekend: February 9. 10, & 11.
2024 Men’s Weekend: Feb. 23, 24, & 25.
The weekend begins at 7:30 p.m. on Friday and concludes by 5:00 p.m. on Sunday. The retreat will be held at Prince of Peace Catholic School. This year, due to the COVID-19 situation, participants will have the choice to sleep at school or home on Friday and Saturday nights.
A registration form must be filled out and returned in advance of the weekend. The fee for the weekend is $35.00, which includes all meals. Persons unable to pay will not be refused.
