As parish members, our goal is to share 5% of our household income through offertory (ET, envelopes, text, etc.), 1% to the Annual Diocesan Appeal, and 4% to other charities. We give in gratitude to God for the many blessings we have received.
Electronic transfer is a direct contribution program for making your regular contribution. ET allows your stewardship of treasure to continue to support the parish regardless of the weather, illness or being away during the weekend.
There is no cost to you or to the parish to do electronic transfers and the parish saves money on budget envelopes. You will still receive a bi-monthly packet with holy day, special Catholic/Diocesan collections, and our monthly School Tuition Assistance / Peru Sister Parish envelopes, but no weekly offertory envelopes.

How to Transfer a Gift of Stock
Many people own appreciated securities (stocks, mutual funds, bonds). Donors of those assets can create specific tax advantages and avoid capital gains tax if transferred directly to the church account.
To gift securities electronically to the Parish’s account:
Contact your broker to request a transfer.
Complete the transfer papers with your broker/financial institution.
Please have your financial advisor/broker contact Jerry Kedley. If you have any other questions, please contact Parish Business Administrator, David Schnier at 563-242-3311.
Leaving a Bequest
Support Prince of Peace by naming the church as a beneficiary in your life insurance, retirement assets, wills, or trusts. For more information, please discuss with your attorney or contact the parish office for more information.
